Nigerian singer/songwriter, Fireboy DML, has spoken about his experience with senior colleague, Wande Coal.
The YBNL signee stated that Wande Coal had a huge impact on his career.
The 鈥楤ack n Forth鈥� crooner said he 鈥渂ecomes a child鈥� whenever he is around Wande Coal.
He described his first meeting with Wande Coal as a dream come true.
Speaking in a recent episode of the 鈥業s This Seat Taken鈥� podcast, Fireboy said, 鈥淚t was a dream at first meeting Wande Coal. I become a child when he is around. He is a legend. So that [meeting him] was a blessing and a surreal moment.鈥�
He reiterated that Wande Coal inspired him to do music.
Fireboy paid tribute to Wande Coal on his eponymous fourth studio album 鈥楢dedamola鈥� on a track titled 鈥榃ande鈥檚 Bop.鈥�
