The Senator representing Zamfara West district in the 10th National Assembly, Abdul鈥檃ziz Yari has donated two cows for sharing among the people of each of the 147 political wards in Zamfara state in celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festival.
The Chairman of Sen. Yari鈥檚 Political Organization, Alhaji Lawal Liman, disclosed this in a statement issued in Gusau on Sunday.
Liman said a total of 380 cows will be shared under the arrangement by Sen Yari.
乌鸦传媒視頻 added that the distribution exercise was inaugurated in Kasuwar Daji ward of 茦aura Namoda Local Government Area.
Liman said the gesture was part of Yari鈥檚 annual assistance to the APC supporters and less-privileged families.
鈥淓ach of the 147 political wards will receive two cows.
鈥淥ther beneficiaries of the gesture include APC executives and other stakeholders of the party in each ward.
鈥淎ll the political wards under the Four Local Government Areas of Zamfara North senatorial district have received their allocations.
鈥淭he remaining wards from the 10 local government areas in Zamfara Central and West Senatorial Districts will receive their allocations on Tuesday,鈥� Liman explained.
He commended Yari for his continuous assistance to the people and called on other political office holders to emulate such efforts.
